Updated: Aug 17, 2023

4 Servings

Serving Size 8oz.

FLAVOR PROFILE

This lemonade wakes the taste buds up and then puts them back to sleep with each sip. It’s sharp, hearty, smooth and the powerful flavor of grapefruit is not hidden.

INGREDIENTS

Grapefruit - 1/2 large *** See note below

Rosemary - 1.5 sprigs

Vanilla extract - 1/3 teaspoon

Cane Sugar or Agave - 3 Tablespoons

Pink Salt - small pinch

Water - 5 cups

EQUIPMENT

Blender

Nut-Milk Bag or Fine Strainer

Cutting Board

Peeler

Measuring Spoons

Container for Serving or Storing

NOTES

#1 - It's ideal to cut off as much of the pith (white stuff between the fruit and the peel) as possible; this will decrease the bitter effect that grapefruit often produces.

#2 - The grapefruit to rosemary ratio is specific and helps to equalize the "treble n' bass" in this drink. If you want to really get a taste-full of rosemary, add a little more.

#3 - Spice things up by coating the rim of your glass with a 50/50 mixture of salt and sugar.

PROCEDURES

Put all ingredients in the blender and liquefy.
